THE CHALLENGE
As California eased out of the Pandemic, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) needed a way to gently remind Californians experiencing mandate fatigue to stay safe.
THE APPROACH
We embraced our whimsy by showing how everyday safety measures can keep you healthy—and having fun. To push it over the top, we leaned into a finger character execution. And yes, casting was quite the experience.
THE RESULT
The spot was launched in English and Spanish with special attention to cultural nuances. OOH and social featured our fun characters in action, all contributing to CDPH’s ongoing efforts to keep Californians safe, vaccinated and boosted.
