1 in 8 women experience symptoms of postpartum depression.
Role: Senior Copywriter
THE CHALLENGE
Postpartum depression (PPD) is more common than we think. And what’s even more shocking is that the numbers may be even higher because many women put off treatment due to stigma. We were asked to create a campaign to help encourage women to speak up and seek help.
THE APPROACH
We felt strongly that the best way to encourage women to take action was to hear compelling, relatable stories, and see women engaging with each other on the topic. Talking Postpartum Depression is a series of videos featuring five different women across the U.S., sharing their stories of hope and healing.
THE RESULT
The work tapped into a receptive audience, with over 148 million people reached through paid media, helping to normalize the conversation around PPD and seeking help.
